I absolutely love this bench. The quality is excellent, and it was incredibly easy to assemble. I wanted to wait a while before writing this review to see how it handled the intense South Florida heat, and I'm happy to report it still looks brand new! Highly recommended.
Seems sturdy once pieces put together. Simple to assemble. Took less than 15 minutes.Will hold all kids sports equipment instead of being thrown in the garage. A little shorter than I wanted but overall functional!
After figuring out the correct way to build this bench it turned out exactly as expected. The instructions were not clear in the book so I had to look at others and I was able to figure out how to put it together.
Doesn't come with assembly instructions, but I was able to figured it. The sides snap in place to the floor panel. The screws included are for the back support. Greensum CS did send instructions (a day after) per my original email request. Once it is fully assembled it is pretty sturdy. I bought it with a cushion and it didn't have ties. I would have liked ties attached in case of winds, etc.
I was very hesitant to purchase a plastic bench. I did not think it would be strong enough. When I saw this had steel supports within the frame I decided to give it a try. It only took about 15 - 20 minutes to assemble. It does have 6 screws that are pre drilled that add strength to the backrest. Also, it has arm covers that interlock with the backrest for additional support. When the unit is completely assembled it is surprisingly strong. I am 275 pounds and it did not give when I sat on it. There is room to spare for two people. The storage area is spacious as well. It looks great in my opinion. It arrived quickly with no damages or shortages. I would gladly buy it again.
I love this bench. It is sturdy, compact, comfortable, and deep enough to store all my outdoor cushions. Assembly was easy. Plus it looks great!
Love this bench, seems very durable and the amount of weight it can hold is a bonus. I keep my outdoor decorations in the storage area, with ample room. My neighbors all wanted to know where I bought, of course I shared.
I was hesitant to order due to all the comments with the bench arriving with broken parts, however, I had no issues with shipment nor broken parts. I thought the directions were clear and had it together in about 20 minutes by myself. I purchased this to go on the front porch to put smaller packages in when it raining but I was very pleased with the size and it will hold medium size boxes as well. We do not use our front porch for sitting so I did not order the bench with a pad. I would say the only negative was that the bench seat will not stay up on it's own and has to be held, but overall I gave it a 5 because it is a beautiful, sturdy bench and would definitely recommend.
Strong. Well made. Simple to assemble. Large capacity while being a good height for sitting with feet on the ground. The zippered cushion, bought as extra, is going through its process of relaxing. It’s thick & soft. I can even see above the deck rail to the river. I’ll bring the cushion in to warm it up & accelerate the suffering process. I used my 2 seat cushions from lawn chairs to create a soft back. Look how the colors match! Vibrant blue. Reasonably priced for its function & quality. Enjoy.
It took approx 45 minutes to put together by myself. There were a couple long screws missing that I thankfully had on hand so I could complete the job. The instructions are not very helpful but just pay attention to what the final picture looks like when you’re putting the different pieces together and that makes it easier. Wish they would have labeled each piece A, B, C etc.The color is WAY off. I ordered the gray bench and it’s definitely more a blue color. My attached picture shows a truly gray storage bin next to the “gray” bench so you can see just how blue it actually is.It is nice and sturdy even when two people sitting on it. It’s nice to be able to put bags of potting soil small gardening shovels things like that inside of it to have ready to use.A piece of advice…spray bug killer/repellent like Ortho around the base of the bench or spiders will definitely crawl in and make themselves a nice little home (found this out the hard way.)Yes I would order again for quality, stability, extra storage etc. I just wish I got an actual gray bench as I hate the color blue.
I wanted this for my dock in eastern washington as I needed something sturdy and allows for lockable storage. This was exactly what I needed.The assembly was super simple as it is mainly snap in place with only 6 screws that have to be put in place (you might want a drill with a phillips head handy). It only took me about 5 minutes to have it out of the box and fully assembled.It's not super heavy and I could easily carry it by myself. I will say that if this is placed in a high wind area (like placing it on a dock where there is a lot of wind), then you might want to secure it down. I used zip ties and had to drill into the bottom of the bench to secure it to my dock.I will say that it's not super comfortable, but when you put a bench pad on it, then it's not too bad. The storage space is huge and you can put a great deal of stuff in here like life jackets, rope, deflated floaties, and many other items.It really does look nice and from far away, it almost looks like it's made of wood.Overall, I'm super happy with this and it's great for the price!
The garden bench came in on time, but it was beat up! Two side panels had chunks of plastic missing, one was cracked, and one of backrest post is coming apart. The back panel connector was crushed, as you can see in the photo. After the cracks, crushed connectors, and some good gorilla tape, I was able to put it together. SOUNDLY! After putting the tape on the inside of the cracked panels, it turned out good! The bench in the box is heavy, but once put together is easy to lift. The back rest was hard to put in, until I put some Vaseline on the post. Once the Vaseline it was added, it went right down in the holes. It is sturdy and can seat 2 adults and 1 child comfortably. The inside storage is wonderful! I have enough room for my hand garden tools, small bag fertilizers, bench seat cushions and more! I am going to add a small insulation strip around the edge, to help keep moisture, rain, snakes, and the lizards out. I am looking for a permanent place to put it in my garden at this time. It is a great addition to my garden, and will be helpful in the summer. Oh I get so tired of running back and forth to the my shed for tools, fertilizer, and others! Even with the cracks, it turned out great. OH and you can lock it!!
I line in a unit that is picky about what's outside - it has to be functional - table, chairs, bench, planter. No storage bins, etc. This works perfectly. I have a place to keep my extension cords and outdoorsy stuff and it can take a small padlock. It's all resin with square tube steel inserts for strength. I'm 230 pounds and it handles my "seat" just fine. The base is ribbed and off the ground my maybe 1/8", so there's really no sag and it can hold a decent amount of weight.Assembly took about 15 minutes. Everything snaps together, then there's a few screws for the rear and a couple for the arm rests. Even the seat/lid snaps into place - snap - instant hinges.I'd call it weather resistant. There's no seal or bevel - the lid sits flush on the base, so water can get in if it rains hard enough, but will drain out. Overall it's surprisingly sturdy and well designed.

Easy to assemble & works great - actually weather proof as long and you shut it properly! Seems durable and is a good size and comfortable to sit on! Looks nice in my yard and much better than a boring storage shed!

I needed a place to sit and a place to store cushions and blankets for an outdoor seating area. Easy to assemble. It is a bit on the small side. Two people can fit on it.This is not a statement piece. It will serve as storage and additional seating for lighter weight humans. I don’t intend to place this in the front of my home, but in a shady area in the back.
I looked at and read several reviews on these storage bins with seats and I'm so glad I chose this one. The assembly was fairly easy. It does snap together but I have done a couple in the past so I found it is easier to lay the pieces out where they will go. This provides a visual. There were two extra screws included with mine so don't let this throw you off. The floor on this one is re-enforced plastic with ridges so I'm pretty confident on the support of items placed inside. The seat seemed to have a little sag but not concerning to me. Very pleased with this item.
Would be helpful if the parts were labeled instead of playing the guessing game. But it seems sturdy enough once assembled and only took about 20 mins to finish. Mostly pop together, with only 6 screws. Has a lot of storage space, but it would be nice if the top had some way to hold it up when opened.
Bench is easy to put together, it's sturdy and the seating is durable. Very pleased with the construction and size.
